Councillor John Montgomery has been elected as the Mayor of North Down, he looks forward to serving the residents of North Down in this exciting new role.
John, now in his second term as councillor has become a champion in the battle against dog nuisance, vandalism and the like. He is particularly concerned that working people are the forgotten majority and need to be better respected for their contribution to society. Recognising the shortcomings of public transport John believes a motorway to Belfast is a must.
