Councillor Alex Easton - Sainsburys

North Down MLA Alex Easton has welcomed the announcement by the Minister for the Environment, Edwin Poots on the news that planning permission has been granted for a new Sainsbury’s store in Bangor.
He said that it will give greater consumer choice and provide Bangor with 350 new jobs.
Speaking today Alex Easton said:
  “I welcome the announcement by Minister Edwin Poots to grant planning permission for a new Sainsbury’s store in Bangor.
It will offer consumers more choice and create 350 new jobs, which is most welcome in the current economic climate.
This is a demonstration that devolution is delivering for the people of Northern Ireland with local politicians working to create a vibrant, prosperous and better society. 
The economy and job creation is a key goal for us in Government in these testing economic times. This announcement, amongst many, proves that we are delivering for the people of Northern Ireland.” the North Down MLA said.
