Councillor Alex Easton - Rathgill Clean

DUP Councillor Alex Easton MLA today called on the DRD and Housing Executive to clean the alleyways in Rathgill Estate.

Speaking today Alex Easton MLA said: 

“On visiting Rathgill estate on Friday morning I was shown the state of an alleyway at the rear of pensioner’s bungalows at Rathgill Park and Grove. As we are in a particularly bad set of weather conditions it is vitally important that we keep alleyways clear of debris for the safety of the residents of the area and particularly the pensioners.”

“As this alleyway is servicing as an exit at the back of pensioners bungalows it is vital that the DRD or Housing Executive clear the piles of leaves and rubbish for health and safety reasons”

“I have written as a mater of urgency to the Housing Executive and DRD to try and get the alleyway cleaned up before someone get hurt”
